WONTHAGGI RAILWAY STATION MUSEUM WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

The Wonthaggi Historical Society's Museum is located at the old railway station in Wonthaggi. It is open to the public every Saturday between 10am and 2pm and between 8:00am and 1:00pm every Rotary market day.
It has many historic artifacts covering all aspects of Wonthaggi's historical past together with many photographs.
The Museum is manned by enthusiastic members of the society who will be only too pleased to answer any questions you might have. The museum has a small collection of books and souvenirs about the local history for sale.
A visit to the museum is a must for any local or visiter that whants to kow about the history of Wonthaggi.
