A History of the State Coal Mine Rescue Station written by long term Society member Dennis Leversha is now available.

The latest booklet for the Society has just been released with the ink barely dry.

An original building in Central Mine Area, it is still being used by the local community today.

The Rescue Station played an important role in the running of the State Coal Mine and Dennis documents this history including many photos.

The 12 page booklet is available for $5 (plus postage) and is available at the Railway Station Museum and Wrenchs Shoe store in Graham Street, Wonthaggi.

Another publication that ensures the history of our past is documented for the future.
